Is Your Daughter Interested in Trying Hockey

Join us for a fun and welcoming Try Hockey event designed for girls ages 5–12 who want to give hockey a try!

Participants will enjoy a one-hour on-ice session led by experienced coaches in a supportive, encouraging environment where they'll learn basic skating and hockey skills while having fun.

Date: Saturday, August 8
Location: Port Coquitlam Community Centre – Rink 3

Schedule:

• 2:45–3:30 PM: Check-in & equipment fitting
• 3:30–4:30 PM: On-ice session

Equipment Included
All hockey equipment is provided at no cost, including the option to rent skates and a helmet for the session. Participants are also welcome to bring their own properly fitting hockey equipment if they have it.

Whether your child has never stepped on the ice or is looking to try hockey for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the game in a safe, welcoming and fun environment!

***Important note: Registration for the 2026/27 season is filling quickly! We have limited spots remaining in our U7, U9, and U11 divisions, and our U13, U15, and U18 divisions are already full. We always welcome girls to experience hockey through our Try Hockey program; however, please keep in mind that participation does not guarantee a spot for the upcoming season due to limited availability.
